Hispanic-owned businesses continue to grow in New York City, but at a slower pace than many other cities in the U.S. New York had a 10.6% increase in Hispanic-owned businesses, growing from 129,412 in 2002 to 143,067 in 2007, the U.S. Census Bureau reported.
